Where's the outrage? Just wait.

There's plenty of outrage to go around these day's. But Bob Dole's question, from year's ago, still rings true today. I don't remember the reason for the question; but it was aimed at the rage-mongers who somehow missed out on being offended by the truly outragous events of that time.

There is outrage coming though. A dark hate filled cloud on the horizon. Meet the Democrats. Or at least their "leaders". I fear a November smackdown at the voting booth will push them over that edge of sanity they've been teetering on. Witness Bill Clinton's interview with Chris Wallace on Sunday night. The coolest cube in the Democratic icetray went into full meltdown.

Since 9/11, all public opinion polls tell us that we hate our President. He lied, people died, etc. News reports tell us that, even though we are killing and detaining our enemies, we are actually manufacturing more. Huh? That does not compute.

In November, we will once again be back to that time where the real poll comes into play. The one poll that matters. A time for Americans to place their bet's on the best chance at life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It is guaranteed in our Constitution; but our Constitution is being challanged, both here and abroad.

I have faith that the stoopid, uninformed, brainwashed, Rove controlled masses (of which I am a proud member) will do their duty; and we will retain the house and senate majority.

What are the Democrats offering: Impeach President Bush, raise taxes, eliminate Osama to end all that messy terrorist stuff, and a plan to be "tougher" and "stronger" and "smarter". Their words, not mine.

When the majority rejects them once again and they are left out in the cold.... we will finally see the global warming that the inventor of the internet has warned us about. Total meltdown.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

And try not to laugh too hard. Also shed a tear or two for the demise of a once great political party.

Open Thread!.. Let's go crazy!

A vast number of readers to this blog (me), have begged our staff (me), not to resort to the "open thread" filler. They (me) come here for our (my) wisdom and insight. I can't blame them (me) for that.

BUT!!!... I will not chill your dissent!  Speak up!

Also, I will be starting up a paypal account soon, so all my loyal readers (me), can keep this blog going strong. It takes alot of bucks to speak our (my) mind.

Until then, just throw money up into the air. Like the Religion of Peace does. Except they use bullets. In. A. War. Zone. What is up with that?

UPDATE: Just kidding about the paypal, I have tons of money (enough to get by).

That old rugged cross

Since I have about a forty five minute commute to work, there's plenty of time for reflection. Also time to listen to the radio, and watch the world pass by. I sometimes even pay attention to my driving.

Part of the world that passes by my moving windows is a cross on the side of the road. We've all seen them before. Someone has died there, so the family/friends put up a cross to mark the last spot that their loved one was alive.

These roadside tributes fade with time, as the family/friends get on with the hard job of moving on. That certain place of tragic death reverts back to just a "side of the road".

Not where Jeremy died though. His cross has been there longer than the year I've driven past it. I've never paid much attention to it. Somedays, I would never see it at all. Zoom.. right on by without a glance or thought. Until last month.

It was an early saturday morning, and I was on my way to work. I noticed a truck with trailor attached, parked off to the side of the road. By Jeremy's cross. A man on a riding lawnmower was cutting the grass of that place where the cross stands. Jeremy's last place as a living, breathing person.

Our state and local highway department does a fine job of roadside upkeep, but this was no paid worker.

Have I failed to notice that final place since then? Of course not. Could you?

Rest in Peace Jeremy.

You are loved. You are remembered.

The 9/11 Republicans

The September 11, 2001 attack changed the world.

I realize this is not breaking news. In fact, I believe it has been covered a time or two in the main stream media. Though their view, five years later on, is one of "tragedy" and "mourning".

I agree with that, to a certain extent.

There are those around the world who point the finger of blame in every direction, except to a certain middle eastern part of our planet. When they do point that finger of blame to the Mideast, it's into a mirror. A kind of "what did we do to deserve this?".

WE DID NOT DESERVE 9/11.

It was not "blowback". It was an invasion. An act of war.

September 11, 2001 spawned a new breed of Republican.

We were born on a pile of rubble. Our first baby steps where taken as we walked away from the fence that we were setting on. No more Reagan Democrats. No more Clinton Republicans.

                             9/11 Republicans

Remember that name, because we will be deciding elections throughout the War on Terror. We are the swing voters that matter. We're not the undecided voters that have no ideal who to
vote for in November.

BTW, why vote if you haven't made up your mind by now? Makes no sense to me. If you have not decided which direction this great nation needs to take, and you need to hear more about the "issues"... go back to sleep.

9/11 Republicans are not impressed for your desire to find the root cause of 9/11.

WE KNOW THE ROOT CAUSE.

They want us dead/converted.

We want to be free.

Take your pick.
