Blogs are much easier to read then to write. Anything you have to say has
been said before, and by someone much more talented. That's been my
situation at anyrate. Finding something to rant about is easy, but finding
the right words and your own take on the situation is extremely hard. In
my opinion- no one wants to blog. If you have a blog it is because you need
it. I'm not only talking about the small timers like myself, but the big guns
too.
Little Green Footballs, Where Are My Key's, Michelle Malkin, Best of the
Web, Right Wing News, Townhall, and I could go on forever. These giants
are now the new media and a vital source of infomation to people like me.
People who have the "will to live" in the face of a death sentence imposed
upon then by IslamicFascist. Most of them started out just like little
ole me. Just ranting. Charles Johnson's Little Green Footballs was a blog
about computer and tech stuff............. Until September 11, 2001.
Do I ever dream of being a big timer? Sure I do, but only for a minute. The
pressure, hatemail, threats, slander and slurs would be to much for me.
I'll just stick with ranting and let the grown ups do their job. Some people
don't even need a blog, but they still have the need to RANT every now
and again. So I am pleased to annouce that regular reader AmeriMark
will be guest blogging here sometime this week. I've seen the outline
and it's good stuff. Real RANTING and RAVING type stuff- In keeping
with the Life As I Know It tradition.
